Meet the Team
Whitney Ryan
Connect to Work Service Lead/ Employers Service Lead

Hi, I’m Whitney.
I’ve been with Working Towards Wellbeing since 2018 and have a background in supporting people with additional learning needs to achieve qualifications, including Maths, English, and ICT.
At WTW, I’ve worked across Community Mental Health, Sevenacres, and EIP, helping people access employment, training, and education. I have since progressed within Osel and now lead the Connect to Work Programme, supporting individuals facing barriers to employment. I’m passionate about helping people achieve more than they thought possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy cross-stitching, crafting, and spending time with my wife and dog.
Julie Gladman
NHS Talking Therapies Service lead.

Hi, I’m Julie.
As the Working Towards Well-being Team Lead for the Talking Therapies and Primary Care Employment Service, my role is to oversee all aspects of the day to day running of service delivery, data reporting, processing new referrals, networking, staff recruitment, training, along with the development and progression of the Talking Therapies and Primary Care Employment Service.
Outside of work, I enjoy holidays and spending quality time with family and friends. My beach hut is my happy place—a place where I can relax, unwind, and recharge.
Joanna Scott
NHS Talking Therapies Employment Advisor

Hi, my name is Joanna.
In April 2022 I joined the WTW team as an Employment Advisor. Previously my roles have involved supporting children in Primary School settings.
Kayleigh Sandford
NHS Talking Therapies Employment Advisor

Hi, I’m Kayleigh and I have been a part of the Working Towards Wellbeing team since February 2019.
Before joining the team I was a Speech and Language therapy assistant within main stream schools. I have always loved helping people. It makes me happy to know that every day I go to work I have the opportunity to help someone identify and see the best parts of themselves. I learn so much from the individuals I work with and am challenged to learn and grow on a daily basis.
Suzanne James
NHS Talking Therapies Employment Advisor

From a young age, I was fortunate to spend many holidays on the Isle of Wight with my parents, creating happy memories that inspired my love for the island.
In January 2021, I decided to make the Isle of Wight my home and begin an exciting new chapter in my life.
I enjoy exploring the island’s beautiful beaches, collecting shells, and using them as inspiration for my drawings and paintings.
My hobbies include growing herbs to make herbal teas, experimenting with new ingredients in cooking and baking, and practising yoga to relax and stay balanced.
Lorna Murray
NHS Talking Therapies Employment Advisor & Employer's Service Employment Advisor

My name is Lorna and I have worked for Working towards Well being for nearly 5 years following a successful career in vocational teaching in further education.
Through my working life I have always been involved in career options work experience and identifying job opportunities. I enjoy sharing my knowledge, training to update my skills, and delivering a service that can improve the client’s experience.
I like to travel on holidays but also enjoy taking time to enjoy the beautiful island by supporting local events and as I have two dogs lots of walking.
