Julie Gladman

NHS Talking Therapies for Depression and Anxiety Team Lead and Employers Service Team Lead

Hi, I’m Julie. As Working Towards Well-being Team Lead, I am responsible for overseeing all areas of employment service delivery, staff recruitment, training, and employment service development and progression.

Co-ordinating the day-to-day delivery of a person-centred approach to ensure that all referrals to the Employment Services are treated equally without discrimination and that contractual responsibilities are adhered to.

Continually working on establishing excellent working relationships with local employers, statutory and charitable organisations to identify and source future funding opportunities to sustain the future of the service.  I am very much a “hands” on team lead and hold a caseload of clients myself.

I have been employed by Osel for over twenty years and I am passionate and proud of the work and services provided as an Organisation.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time socialising with family and friends, taking our puppy out and
attending training sessions. I also enjoy listening to a variety of music, cooking and baking with the
latter needing improvement!

The beach is my all time happy place whether it be Summer or Winter!

Kayleigh Sandford

Employment Advisor within Talking Therapies For Anxiety and Depression.

Hi, I’m Kayleigh and I have been a part of the Working Towards Wellbeing team since February 2019.

Before joining the team I was a Speech and Language therapy assistant within main stream schools. I have always loved helping people. It makes me happy to know that every day I go to work I have the opportunity to help someone identify and see the best parts of themselves. I learn so much from the individuals I work with and am challenged to learn and grow on a daily basis.

When I am not working I enjoy being outdoors, walking my dog, gaming and spending time with my family.

Suzanne James

Suzanne James

Employment Advisor within Talking Therapies and Secondary Care

From a young age I was lucky to have many holidays on the Isle of Wight with my parents.  I made the decision to move here and arrived in January 2021 to start a new chapter in my life. I am enjoying exploring the beaches around the island and collecting shells to draw and paint. My hobbies include growing herbs to make herbal teas, cooking/baking with experimental ingredients and  yoga.

I now support people who are looking to return to, or find new work.  This can be either paid work or voluntary work, as well as helping individuals update their skills set with new training and education.

I work alongside the Talking Therapies Team two days a week and alongside Secondary Mental Health once a week

Joanna Scott

Employment Advisor within Talking Therapies For Anxiety and Depression.

Hi, my name is Joanna.

In April 2022 I joined the WTW team as an Employment Advisor. Previously my roles have involved supporting children in Primary School settings.

I enjoy this role as I am able to support individuals through their journey to gain education, training and or employment.  I love the fact that I am able to offer a person centred 1 to 1 approach, supporting individuals in a holistic manner that meets their individual needs.

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends.

In my downtime I like to read, do something artsy, I enjoy gaming and also enjoy spending some time each day to do some Pilates and meditation.
